The pattern is real because it repeats — both Fridays are 12 or more while every other day sits between 3 and 6 — but counts hold no reasons, so the cause needs asking, not counting. Option (b) is the total with Friday left out, and (a) reads a cause straight out of the numbers. Marking guidance: Tests whether the child rests a pattern on the repeat and keeps what happened separate from why it happened. [3]

Option (b) gets the address right and then reads Aloe's own height instead of row 4's, which is the commonest slip here. The pots look out of order, and that is correct, because pots were never the sorting column. Option (a) sorts the pots too, which is exactly the mistake this topic exists to catch. Marking guidance: Tests whether the child moves whole rows and accepts that the untouched column ends up unsorted. [3]
Q55. (a) Checking row by row: Tulsi 48 for 22, Marigold 41 for 35, Money plant 35 for 48 and Rose 22 for 41 are all wrong, while Aloe shows 27 and really is 27. Option (c) has the right count with the wrong reason — the 27 did move, and simply happened to land back in its own row, so it is luck, not safety. The fix is undo, then select the whole table. Marking guidance: Tests whether the child checks each row against the truth and can tell a lucky match from a correct one. [3]

Option (c) reads the count 8 straight off as a percentage without dividing. Option (d) swaps one 'always' for another, and a pie is only allowed here because the houses really do make one whole.
